COSRX The Retinol 0.1 is an irritation-reduced, beginner-friendly retinol formula designed with an optimal ratio of key ingredients for those just starting to notice early signs of aging. Ideal for first-time retinol users, this cream helps prevent and correct fine lines, dryness-induced wrinkles, and loss of skin elasticity—before they become more visible.

It also helps refine skin texture, reduce pore size, and support acne-prone skin.

How to Use

1. After essence or serum, take a small amount and gently pat using your ring finger.
2. Apply evenly over the face, neck, and areas of wrinkle concern.
3. Start using 2 times per week, then gradually increase to every other night as tolerated.
4. Always use sunscreen during the day when using retinol.

Retinol Adaptation Phase (Building Tolerance)

Retinol requires an adjustment period to minimize irritation. Follow the recommended schedule:

WEEK 1–2

• Frequency: Every other night
• How to Use: After cleansing, apply at the moisturizer step. Use a small amount only on targeted areas.
  • Under eyes
  • Mouth area
  • Forehead
  • Neck
  • Recommended amount: 0.1 ml per section (size of a rice grain)

WEEK 3 Onwards

• Frequency: May use every night if no irritation occurs
• How to Use: After cleansing and before moisturizer (or mixed with moisturizer), apply over the entire face.

Notes:

• Adaptation time may vary per person.

• Increase frequency and coverage gradually.
